## What these additives do
Defoaming (destroy disruptive surface foam in process water for a continuous, efficient run), deaeration (release entrapped air, prevent pores, improve sheet formation and homogeneity), wetting/impregnation (lower surface tension, optimise wetting/leveling times), emulsification (stabilise oil-in-water and water-in-oil emulsions), and retention/drainage (retain fillers, fines and residual fibres; improve drainage and dewatering). Applied across stock preparation, the wet end, sheet formation, press/drying and coating.

### Defoamers & Deaerators — LAMEX®  (/defoamers.html)
LAMEX® defoamers minimise disruptive foam in process water, ensuring a continuous, efficient production process — improved machine performance, greater production stability and better economic efficiency. LAMEX® deaerators promote the release of entrapped air, preventing pore formation and improving sheet formation, which contributes to the quality and homogeneity of paper products. Available as silicone and silicone-free systems, for paper grades from standard and coated paper to tissue, hygiene paper, cigarette paper, carton/board and pulp.
### Wetting Agents & Emulsifiers — LAMBATOL®  (/wetting-agents.html)
LAMBATOL® wetting agents optimise wetting/impregnation and leveling times by lowering surface tension for even, fast penetration. LAMBATOL® emulsifiers enhance the stability of oil-in-water and water-in-oil emulsions. Used in impregnation, coating and colouring.
### Flocculants — Retention & Drainage — LAMBAFLOC®  (/flocculants.html)
LAMBAFLOC® flocculants increase the retention of fillers, fines and residual fibres, while also improving drainage and dewatering — for a cleaner white water loop, better first-pass retention and a faster, more stable machine.

Standard (graphic) paper, coated paper, tissue, hygiene paper, cigarette paper, carton/board, and pulp. Each grade has different furnish, machine speed, water-loop and quality needs; AGATEX matches defoamer/deaerator, wetting-agent and flocculant chemistry to the grade.
